Terms of subscription
Updated on 27 October 2026. These terms restate the essentials of the subscription contract that each practice receives before subscribing, then signs online. The signed contract prevails.
Who is bound
The Labrador service is provided by YUFU CAPITAL, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée), 172 avenue de Choisy, 75013 Paris, Paris RCS 824 411 375.
It is reserved for professionals: veterinary practices and surgeries, and the groups that bring them together. These terms are not intended for private individuals.
The service
Labrador is veterinary practice management software, used online from a browser: records of animals and their owners, calendar, consultations, tests, prescriptions, invoices, stock, activity tracking. Updates are included.
What Labrador does not do yet:
- its till is not yet certified as compliant with the rules for till software: until it is, it must not be used as a till system;
- it prepares reminders for owners, but does not send them yet;
- the integration with test analysers is under development: it is owed only if the contract provides for it.
Price
The prices are those on the Pricing page on the day of subscription. They are in euros, excluding tax, per month and per practice, and depend on the number of vets. The contract states the practice's plan and price.
French VAT is added at the rate in force. A practice established in another country of the European Union that has given us a valid VAT number receives an invoice without VAT: it accounts for the tax itself (reverse charge).
Prices may be revised once a year at most. The revision is announced in writing at least 60 days before it applies. A practice that refuses it may terminate without charge before that date.
Trial
The subscription may begin with a free trial, with no commitment, the length of which is stated in the contract. Until the last day of the trial, the practice may stop without charge.
Payment
The subscription is paid in advance: each month, or for twelve months if the contract provides for annual payment. Payment is made against an invoice, by bank transfer, or by direct debit if we have agreed to that in writing. Invoices are electronic.
They are payable on receipt, and at the latest 30 days after they are issued. In the event of late payment, penalties at the European Central Bank's refinancing rate plus 10 percentage points, and a fixed indemnity of €40 for recovery costs, are due automatically (articles L. 441-10 and D. 441-5 of the French Commercial Code).
If an amount remains unpaid 15 days after a formal notice, access may be suspended. The data is kept intact during the suspension.
Term and termination
Unless the contract provides for a commitment, the subscription carries no commitment. If paid monthly, it can be terminated at any time and ends at the end of the current month. If paid annually, termination takes effect on the annual due date, with 30 days' notice.
Termination is notified by email or by registered letter. We acknowledge receipt within 2 working days.
If the service is repeatedly unavailable, the practice may leave without charge, refunded for the unused period.
Availability and support
We aim for 99% availability each month. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance.
Support replies by email at support@labrador.vet, on working days from 9 am to 6 pm, Paris time. The response times, depending on severity, are set out in the contract.
The practice's data
The data remains the property of the practice. We do not sell it, we do not disclose it to anyone and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence.
The practice may request an export at any time, free of charge, in a common format: we provide it within 30 days. After the contract ends, the data is kept for 12 months so that the practice can take it back, then deleted.
We enter a practice's space only for support or maintenance, with a stated reason, for four hours at most. The practice can see this in its settings, and we cannot validate anything on its behalf.
For personal data, we act as the practice's processor, under the data processing agreement.
Liability
Labrador is neither a medical device nor an aid to diagnosis or prescribing. The vet remains solely responsible for their diagnoses, their prescriptions, the dispensing of medicines and their professional obligations.
Our total liability under the contract is capped at the higher of these two amounts: what the practice has paid, excluding tax, during the 12 months preceding the event in question, or €1,000 excluding tax. This cap is tripled for a breach of confidentiality, security or personal data protection.
Changes to the terms
Any change is notified in writing at least 60 days before it takes effect. A practice that refuses it may terminate without charge before that date, refunded for the unused period.
Governing law and disputes
The contract is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we first look for an amicable solution, then, if needed, mediation.
Failing agreement, the courts of the district where YUFU CAPITAL has its registered office, in Paris, have sole jurisdiction. For a practice established in France that is not a trader, the ordinary rules of jurisdiction apply.
