Privacy policy

Updated on 27 October 2026.

Who is responsible

YUFU CAPITAL, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée), 172 avenue de Choisy, 75013 Paris, which publishes Labrador. For any question about your data: bonjour@labrador.vet.

What we collect

The information you enter in the demo request form: name, practice, email, phone number and message, plus the language, the page the request was sent from and how you reached the site (search engine, another site or campaign, and the first page you viewed). It is stored in our follow-up tool, hosted in the European Union.

Why, and on what basis

To answer your request and get back to you about Labrador. Nothing else. This processing responds to your request, before any contract (article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

Audience measurement is used to find out which pages are read and where visitors come from. It is based on our legitimate interest in making Labrador known (article 6.1.f of the GDPR).

How long

Three years after our last exchange, unless you ask us to delete your data.

Who receives your data

The Labrador team, and our technical providers, each for what they do for us. We neither sell nor rent your data.

  • Vercel Inc.: hosting of the site and the application. United States.
  • Supabase Pte. Ltd.: database. European Union (Ireland).
  • Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend): sending of emails, including the acknowledgement of receipt of your request. United States.

Outside the European Union

Your data is stored in Ireland. But the servers of the site and the application run in the United States, and emails are sent through a US company. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Vercel adheres, or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of its processing or its portability, and you can object to its processing. You can also tell us what we are to do with your data after your death. Write to us at bonjour@labrador.vet: we reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority, cnil.fr), or with the data protection authority of your country.

Audience measurement

The site measures its traffic without cookies: this measurement stores nothing on your device. It keeps anonymous counters: pages viewed, where the visit came from (search engine, social network, another site, campaign), device type, page language and country. To avoid counting the same visitor twice in a day, our server computes a fingerprint from your IP address and your browser. Only this fingerprint is recorded. It changes every day: it cannot be used to build a profile or to link your visits from one day to the next. If your browser sends the “do not track” signal (Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control), your visits are not counted. The site uses no advertising trackers.

Cookies and preferences

The site does not set any cookies: no measurement, no advertising. That is why it does not ask for your consent.

If you choose them, two preferences are kept in your browser: the theme (light or dark) and the pause of Lab, the site's little dog. They never leave your device, and you can delete them from your browser settings.

The application, for its part, keeps your sign-in session in your browser. This is essential for you to stay signed in.

If you use the application

Your account data (name, email, role, sign-ins and actions) and the data the practice enters about its clients and their animals are processed on behalf of the practice, under the data processing agreement. The practice is responsible for it: send your requests to the practice, and we will help it to answer them.

We process for ourselves the contact details of the people who manage the practice's subscription, for the contract, invoices and support. They are kept for the duration of the contract, then for ten years in the case of invoices, as the law requires.

Security

Communications are encrypted. Each practice's data is kept separate in the database, and only the people who need it can access it.

If this policy changes

We update this page, with its date at the top. If the change is significant, we notify client practices.
